Halo 3 is here, or at least it is back at home

September 25th, 2007 by Jonathan Schellack

My wife was gracious enough last night to allow me to stay up late and journey to the local WalMart to wait in line for the new Halo 3 video game. She was especially kind and generous because she allowed me to climb back into bed with her after I returned, tired, from Wally-world with the $60 game in hand, after waiting for an hour to get the game and check-out. Come to think of it, that was two lines I had to wait in.
But it was worth it because I got Halo 3, right!?! Well, I haven’t actually played it yet because I wisely went straight to bed after getting home - instead of staying up all night to play - and now I’m at work, miles away from the unopened game & my cool XBOX 360.The good news is that I am stoked to get to leave work early today, and I know I have plenty to look forward to in what is guaranteed to be a fun game to play.
Need proof? Wired Magazine has an article about the Microsoft–funded lab dedicated to making Halo 3 the most fun game possible. You can read it here.
